Noodles & Company Review and Giveaway

The other evening, I had the privilege of attending a blogger event at the Noodles & Company restaurant in Novi. This was my first time at a Noodles & Company so I was especially excited. Lucky for me, our group was able to try quite the variety of dishes, which ended up stuffing me to the max!

We began our meal with two shareables – Cheesy Garlic Bread and Korean BBQ Meatballs. The baguette bread is topped with parmesan cheese. garlic butter, and Italian seasonings and it is served with a side of marinara sauce. Definitely a great side to pasta dishes!

One of Noodles & Company’s newest dishes is the Korean BBQ meatballs. These were a big hit with our group. The meatballs are topped with a sweet and spicy Korean BBQ sauce, which in my opinion was a perfect blend!

Next, we were presented with two salads – the Napa Market Salad with Chicken and the Chicken Veracruz Salad, both of which are new to the menu. The Napa Market Salad is mixed greens topped with Gala apples, tomatoes, red bell peppers, blue cheese, naturally raised bacon crumbles, and pulled grilled chicken. It’s tossed with pomegranate vinaigrette.

My favorite of the two was the Chicken Veracruz Salad because it has a touch of spicy! This salad is mixed greens topped with tomatoes, red onion, chili-lime chicken, crumbled bacon, corn, crispy jalapenos, fresh avocados, and cilantro. The kicker is the Jalapeno Ranch dressing (YUM).

For our first main entrees, we were given Penne Rosa, Pesto Cavatappi, and Alfredo MontAmore. You can read more about these dishes on the Noodle & Company website. Of the three, my favorite was the Pesto Cavatappi which is loaded with flavor. This dish has curly pasta, basil pesto, garlic, mushrooms, tomato, wine, cream, parmesan, and Italian parsley.

For our second main entrees, we had Asian dishes including Pad Thai, Bangkok Curry, and Spicy Korean Beef Noodles (a new dish). The last dish is quite spicy, so this dish is good for spice lovers (like me). Again, you can find the ingredients for these dishes on their website. I bet you can guess which was my favorite, that’s right the Spicy Korean Beef Noodles.

Believe it or not, we tasted one last set of pasta dishes. This time we had Wisconsin Mac & Cheese (with added broccoli) and Steak Stroganoff. By this time, I was so full I could hardly fit much more. I managed to try a few small bites of both dishes and surely wanted more of the Mac & Cheese. Even though we were all stuffed, it was a favorite.

Finally came dessert which we all managed to squeeze in. We tried two cookies, chocolate chip and Snickerdoodle, and Rice Crispy Treats. The Snickerdoodle was delish with the chocolate chip in close second. Wow, if only I had more room!

As you can see, Noodles & Company specializes in pasta dishes, but they also specialize in you (the customer). Their menu is completely customizable from the size of your bowl to your protein to your sides or extra veggies. They will make a dish to your liking and substitute veggies for veggies and meats for meats. Their dishes contain no artificial flavors, colors, sweeteners, and preservatives. Their restaurants are free of freezers, microwaves and can openers! As I said, they specialize in us (their customers).

If you’ve never been to a Noodles & Company restaurant, I highly suggest you visit one soon. If you’ve been before, it’s time to head back to check out their new menu items. To find a location near you, please see their website.
