The Fourth of July brings family and friends together for picnics, BBQ’s, games, fun, and fireworks!! There are many local fireworks displays in Wayne County. Check out the list below and click on the display name to find out more! 

Flat Rock Fireworks 

Date: June 7

Location: Huroc Park, 28700 Arsenal Rd, Flat Rock

Event Details: Join the party Friday night and celebrate the kickoff of the annual Flat Rock Summer Blast at Huroc Park! The festival opens at 4pm with great live music, including Cruizin’ Jupiter before and after the fireworks! FIREWORKS BEGIN AT 10PM!
FREE SHUTTLES FROM FLAT ROCK HIGH SCHOOL & FLAT ROCK PLAZA.

Riverview Summerfest Fireworks 

Date: June 14

Location: Young Patriots Park, 14300 Sibley Road

Event Details: Summerfest activities include carnival rides, crafts, food, shows, fishing derby, petting farm

Liberty Fest Fireworks Canton Township

Date: June 15

Location: Heritage Park

Event Details: Liberty Fest activities include carnival rides, games, shows, crafts, food, and so much more!

Romulus Fireworks 

Date: June 27

Location: Behind Romulus Middle School and Wick Elementary

Taylor Summer Festival Fireworks

Date: June 27

Location: Heritage Park

Event Details: Summer Festival Fireworks display scheduled for approximately 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 29 (if weather is a problem, the fireworks would be held at the same time on Sunday, June 30).

Van Buren Township Fireworks

Date: June 29 at 10 pm

Location: Beck Ballfields

Stoney Creek Metropark

Date: June 30

Location: 4300 Main Park Road, Shelby Township

Date: June 30 at 10:15 pm

Location: Ford Field – corner of Farmington Road and Lyndon

Event Details – Livonia Spree activities include carnival rides, games, food, petting farm, concerts, and more!

Willow Metropark

Date: July 1

Location: 3200 S. Huron Road, New Boston

Salute to America

Date: July 3-6

Location: Walnut Grove in Greenfield Village, Dearborn 

Event Details: Fife and Drum Parade, live preshow music by the Jazz Ambassadors of the United States Army Field Band, Detroit Symphony Orchestra Concert, live historic cannon fire, fireworks finale. 

Lake Erie Metropark

Date: July 3

Location: 32481 W. Jefferson, Brownstown, MI 48173

2019 Detroit Symphony at Ford House

Date: July 7 & 8, 8-10 pm

Location: Eleanor Ford House, 1100 Lake Shore Road, Grosse Pointe Shores, MI 48236

Event Details: Aram Demirjian conducts the Detroit Symphony Orchestra for two concerts at Ford House. It’s Lights, Camera, Action! on Friday night with your favorite Hollywood hits. On Saturday, enjoy a night of Symphonic Enchantment. Both nights are followed by a fireworks show accompanied by your Detroit Symphony Orchestra!
