New Drive-In Theater Coming to Detroit this Month

Monroe Street Drive-In
Detroit’s largest real estate company, Bedrock, and Emagine Entertainment teamed up to bring the Monroe Street Drive-In to downtown Detroit. With shows on Thursday-Sunday, the first movie (Jurassic Park) will be shown on January 22 at 7 pm. For more information about this first showing visit the Emagine website.

Ticketing
- Admission is $20 per vehicle.
- Pre-purchases are strongly recommended, as only a limited number of on-site ticket purchases will be available per showtime.
Rules and Regulations
- Only one car is permitted per parking stall.
- When outside your vehicle, please wear a mask and maintain social distancing of at least six feet.
- Drive-in speakers are not available. Sound will be transmitted through FM radio. If your car radio is unavailable, please bring a portable radio.
- Vehicles will not be permitted into the drive-in beyond 15 minutes of showtime.
- Please turn off all vehicle lights after you get into your parking stall and do not sound your horn. Remain courteous to all other movie-goers.
- Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
- Do not leave your vehicle unattended.
- All vehicles must be removed from the lot within one hour after the show ends. Unremoved vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Amenities
- On-site concessions are available offering popcorn, snacks, coffee, hot cocoa, bottled soft drinks and bottled water. Please only allow one member at a time from your party to stand in line for concessions.
- On-site restroom trailers will be available. Please remember to wear a mask and practice social distancing when in use.
- Outside food is allowed, but no grills are allowed at the drive-in.
