Honest Tea Review and Giveaway

Have you heard of Honest Tea? I have to be honest, it wasn’t until recently that I was introduced to the company and their products. Honest Tea began in 1998 as a small company of three employees and $250,000 in sales. Today, it has grown to over 116 employees and $112 million in sales.

Honest Tea seeks to create and promote great-tasting, healthier, organic beverages. They strive to grow their business with the same honesty and integrity they use to craft their products, with sustainability and great taste for all. It is because of this philosophy that the company has seen such growth.

Honest Tea believes in organic. All of their teas are certified organic according to standards set by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and enforced by accredited third-party certifying agents.  They specialize in offering beverages that range from unsweetened and zero grams of sugar to ones that are “just a tad sweet.” Their teas, juice drinks and sodas use a variety of natural sweeteners, including Organic Sugar Cane, Fair Trade Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Honey, Organic Fruit Juice, Stevia, Organic Maple Syrup, and Organic Agave Syrup.

I’ve had the opportunity to try three of their teas – Organic Peach, Organic Half Tea & Half Lemonade, and Organic Honey Green Tea. Of the three, I prefer the peach and the half & half. Both have only 100 calories per bottle, and more importantly, are all natural.
