10 things to do to prepare for a positive day…
I know you’ve all heard the saying, “I woke up on the wrong side of the bed.” Although there are many factors that affect our day-to-day life, one thing is for sure…we determine our mood and there are things we can do to improve our mood:
- Allow plenty of time to prepare for the day (don’t feel rushed)
- Read the bible, complete your daily devotions, or read something inspiring
- Pray or meditate
- Count your blessings
- Turn on your favorite music as you get ready for the day
- Eat a healthy breakfast
- Drink a cup of tea or coffee
- Cuddle with your pet
- Call or text someone you love
- Kiss/hug your loved loves before separating for the day
What would you add to this list?
I find that talking on the phone (or via text / online message) with loved ones near the end of the day is nice too. My boyfriend and I always talk on the phone before bedtime.
Interesting list 🙂 I find it hard to fit in stuff for myself while I’m getting three more people ready for the day, but we’re usually happy about doing it all together.
No. 1 is where I fail every time. I’m trying to get better at prepping most things the night before. Great post!
I try to count my blessings every day. There is always many things to be thankful for.

Listening to praise and worship music always helps start the day off great too. It sets the mood of the house.
That’s what I listen to too!
The first and the last one is truly important. Choose my own pace is what works best for me.
