Fresh Tomato and Cilantro Salsa
Fresh Tomato and Cilantro Salsa
If you are a lover of fresh cilantro, as I am, then you will love this recipe for fresh tomato and cilantro salsa. Everything in this recipe is fresh, so the taste is amazing! I’ve adapted this recipe from one I found on All Recipes. It’s a perfect summertime (or anytime) treat with chips or on just about anything from meats to veggies!
Ingredients: (I usually double this recipe)
3 tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup chopped onion
5-6 finely chopped jalapeno peppers
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro (or more)
1-2 cloves minced or finely chopped garlic
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons lime juice (fresh or from a jar)
Directions:
Chop or dice all of the above ingredients. Place in a sealable container of your choice and let set in the refrigerator for a few hours. ENJOY!!
Thanks for this! I love “fresh salsa” (aka pico de gallo) but not a fan of the store-bought kind. Will attempt to make this at some point :).
This is yummy!
Sounds perfect for today, Cinco de Mayo! I love fresh cilantro, too, so I’ll have to give this salsa a try sometime.
Hope you pinned it 🙂
