Prayani Indian Savory Yogurt
Prayani Indian Savory Yogurt is not your typical yogurt. I would actually consider it more of a healthy dip that can be used in a variety of ways. Prayani was launched in September 2015 as Raita Yogurt. Then, in June 2016, the name was changed to Prayani, meaning “Traveler”, to represent their consumers who love to travel and experience new cultures and cuisines.
Health Benefits of Prayani:
Prayani is a healthy yogurt that contains probiotic cultures. It is free of gelatin, pectin, xantham gum, and other added preservatives. It also contains many healthy ingredients.
Cilantro—Boosts immunity, detoxifies the body and increases energy
Cumin—Rich in vitamins and minerals, including iron and manganese
Coriander—Improves the skin, boosts immunity and digestion
Red Chili—High in antioxidants and minerals, fights inflammation
Mint—Promotes digestion and boosts weight loss
Himalayan Pink Salt—Rich in minerals and iron, but less sodium than salt
Chia Seeds—Chia seeds are high in protein, fiber, and antioxidants
There are Three Flavors of Prayani:
Cucumber with mint and cilantro
Our Cucumber with Cilantro & Mint uses carefully selected ingredients, such as refreshing cucumbers, omega-3-rich chia seeds and the finest herbs and spices available. A delicious blend of cumin, cilantro, and Kashmiri red chili powder infuse Raita’s Mild Cucumber with Cilantro & Mint for a revitalizing flavor.
Carrot with cumin and coriander (MY FAVorite)
Fresh, sweet carrots from Michigan farms and our world-class, small-farm yogurt blend masterfully with a range of carefully chosen herbs and spices, including cumin, coriander, Himalayan pink sea salt and Kashmiri red chili powder. Rich in vitamin A, calcium, protein and antioxidants, our Spicy Carrot with Cumin & Coriander yogurt is packed with health-boosting probiotics. Those looking for an exotic and captivating new yogurt experience will love all that Raita has to offer.
Tomato with cumin and coriander
Tangy fresh tomato blends with the spices coriander and cumin in this rich and satisfying flavor. Prayani’s Tomato with Coriander & Cumin offers the harmony of invigorating spices that perfectly complement one another. Use on Baked Potato or even as a condiment.

The yogurt is tasty. I love the spices in it.
Thanks Crystal! 🙂
I think the CARROT WITH CUMIN AND CORIANDER tastes even better now! Love it!
This sounds delicious and truly healthful. How I wish I can try it soon!
Hi Ron – Check out our website: http://www.prayani.com/find-us to see where you can find Prayani.
I’ve never really been into yogurt. Something about the texture just skeeves me out. However, I had a delicious yogurt parfait the other day that may have changed my mind. 🙂
Ah, you should try it then – I have met many people who say they don’t like yogurt who like this because it’s savory and not sweet – even many folks who usually have a problem with the texture. 🙂 – Harinee
I agree, it doesn’t have a yogurt texture. I am really enjoying my CARROT WITH CUMIN AND CORIANDER!
This has more of a dip texture than yogurt texture. And the ingredients make it special. I am definitely enjoying my CARROT WITH CUMIN AND CORIANDER right now!!
