GMRENCEN Third Annual Holiday Headquarters

Holiday Headquarters pop-up shopping is back for another year and for an additional week! For three weeks this November and December, shop Detroit by visiting the rotating pop-up shops inside the GMRENCEN. Located on level one in Tower 300 by the AT&T and Verizon kiosks, Holiday Headquarters will feature more than 30 Detroit Businesses.

This year’s Holiday Headquarters will run for three weeks (11/27-12/1, 12/4-12/8, and 12/11-12/15) from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Vendors will rotate each week, while some vendors will participate for multiple weeks. Items for sale include everything from handmade candles, jewelry and artwork to one-of-a-kind terrariums and Detroit-apparel, toffee, pet merchandise and more. Shoppers will also have the opportunity to donate to Toys for Tots. Bins are ready for donations of unwrapped, unused toys to children.

My Visit to Holiday Headquarters

My friends and I visited Holiday Headquarters on Day 3, November 29, and we really enjoyed ourselves. Heading into Detroit is always an adventure and visiting the GMRENCEN is an experience in itself. With shops, restaurants, a food court, and services such as banking, postal, salon, and more, you can find it all at the GMRENCEN!

This week and the next two are especially exciting at the GMRENCEN due to Holiday Headquarters which will feature more than 30 Detroit businesses. If you are looking for unique gifts, especially Michigan themed, this is the place to shop! And shopping is what we did! In fact, my friend Jodi found gifts for many of her family members (and that’s just some of her purchases pictured below).

Complimentary gift wrapping is included in the experience. Buy your gifts and have them wrapped before you leave. These two beautiful women were more than happy to make our packages beautiful. One of a kind service!

After shopping, we decided to have lunch in the food court (level A) which features a huge variety of food options. This was a good choice for us since we were each craving something different. There are many other fine and casual dining options available at the GMRENCEN. For more information, check out the GMRENCEN website.

Holiday Headquarters will run for the next two weeks and will feature the shops listed below. If you have a chance, I highly suggest checking it out.
