Club Pilates Review & Giveaway
Club Pilates Rochester is a hip new exercise club that offers classes with a modern approach to classical methods of pilates. Born in San Diego in 2007, Club Pilates has expanded across the nation, bringing Pilates to hundreds of thousands of people. In 2016, Club Pilates delivered 2.2 million workouts to their dedicated members…and they are just getting started!
On Friday, I visited the new Club Pilates in Rochester, MI and I walked away feeling sweaty but accomplished. Classes at Club Pilates are low-impact, energizing, and fun while they build core strength, flexibility, and coordination.
What I enjoyed most about the workout at Club Pilates was the Reformer (pictured below) which is a strengthening apparatus created by Joseph Pilates, the founder of Pilates. Joe created this tool to help people improve their strength, flexibility, stability, and mind-body connection. I loved the workout on this machine because it was low-impact, yet I could tell I was strengthening my legs, back, arms, abs, and buttocks.
There are a variety of leveled classes offered at Club Pilates. The best way to start is with a FREE 30 minute intro class which will introduce you to the equipment, studio, and the staff. All classes are taught by certified instructors who have extensive pilates training and class sizes are small which allows individual attention and assistance if needed.
To find a Club Pilates near you, please visit their website. If you live near the Rochester site, I highly recommend it. The employees were welcoming and helpful and the club was inviting, organized, and clean. If I lived closer, I’d be back!
