Hop & Vine Inn of Fennville, MI
Hop & Vine Inn of Fennville, MI
Hop & Vine Inn of Fennville, MI is far from your ordinary bed and breakfast. Located on the west side of the state (near Saugatuck), Hop & Vine is an 18 unit complex in a country setting. Just five minutes from food, shopping, and adventure, Hop & Vine offers the best of both worlds!
This past weekend, my friend, Crystal, and I had the privilege of staying two nights in a townhouse at the inn. Dan and Amber, the owners, made us feel right at home. They definitely have a niche for hosting – from their friendliness to their outpouring of information about the area. Their goal is to provide a 5-star experience for each guest, and they did just that for Crystal and I.
When it comes to variety, Hop & Vine has 18 unique units from standard rooms to family units to townhomes. Each unit has its own theme with some having fireplaces and hot tubs. As I mentioned above, Crystal and I stayed in one of the two townhomes. Each townhome has a private living area, full kitchen, two bedrooms, and 1.5 bathrooms. They sleep 6-9 people and are perfect for large families or a group of people.
Our townhouse was clean, cozy, and had all the comforts of home. For a complete listing of the 18 units, please visit Hop & Vine’s website.
Variety in rooms is just one of the unique features of Hop & Vine. Amenities on the property include an indoor pool, sand volleyball court, fire pit, play structure, yard games, board games, gas and charcoal grills, picnic tables, free WIFI, Netflix and Hulu, and more!
A full, hot breakfast is included with your stay at Hop & Vine Inn. Chef Dan is up bright and early to satisfy the hunger of his guests. Buffet style breakfast includes options such as waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, cold cereal, pastries, and cold and hot beverages. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, especially when there are lots of delicious choices. Extra touches such as soft music playing and a warm fire in the fireplace made this breakfast even more special.
If you are looking for a 5-star bed and breakfast, I highly recommend Hop & Vine Inn. In fact, I’m already planning my next trip there with a group of girlfriends. On top of it being a great place to stay, there is also so much adventure in the area. For more information about the Hop & Vine or things to do in the area, please visit their website, Facebook or Instagram.
Looks super nice! I’m actually going to be staying there as well (blogger stay) in June, I don’t think it’s in one of the townhomes though. Fennville and that area (Saugatuck, etc.) is one of my favorite areas.

That place isn’t far from me though I had never heard of it before this post. Breakfast is my favorite meal as well that was such a cute little set up they had for your choosing. That pool looks remarkable too. I’d love to enjoy some time in there.
Looks like a great place. Breakfast is my favorite also
Can’t wait to head back with you!
Looks like a wonderful weekend! And a beautiful area. Hubby and I like to get away for a night or two at bed and breakfasts not too far from home. I’ll have to remember this one.
They offer a weekday special – stay two nights and get the third free. ?
We just loved having you fun ladies here at our B&B! Excited to see you back in the Saugatuck / Douglas / Fennville area soon!! I know you’ll make some great memories with your girlfriends. Some ideas for your must-do list:
Wineries/breweries, boutique shopping, antiquing, beach time, boat tours, dune rides, art barns, the goat cheese creamery (with baby goats right now!), kayaking, sailing… If you can do more than 2 nights, our weekday special (stay 2 weeknights, get the 3rd weeknight free) would be a great option. 🙂 See you soon!
Amber – You and Dan are such fantastic hosts. Thank you for your hospitality – from the glass of wine when we arrriced to the hug when we left. Can’t wait to return and take part in some of the suggestions above. I wish you much success!
