Southeast Michigan Summer Festivals

Summer fun doesn’t have to break the bank or involve traveling long distances. There are so many summer festivals right here in Southeast Michigan. These festivals offer a wide variety of activities and entertainment that the whole family will enjoy! Check out these festivals, mark your calendars, and get ready for a fun filled summer!

June 14-16: Riverview Summer Festival 

  • Location: Young Patriots Park – Sibley Road
  • Description: Live entertainment, carnival, food, fishing derby, petting farm, helicopter rides, food, fireworks (Friday), and more!

June 14-16: Belleville Strawberry Festival

  • Location: Trinity Episcopal Church, 11575 Belleville Road
  • Description: Strawberry goodies, food, parade, crafters, vendors, and more

June 21-23: Detroit River Days

  • Location: West Riverfront Park 
  • Description: Live entertainment, carnival, zipline, inflatables, The Tuskegee Airmen River Days Airshow, food, and more! 

June 25-30: Livonia Spree 

  • Location: Ford Field at the corner of Farmington Road and Lyndon
  • Description: Live entertainment, carnival, food, games, fireworks (Sunday), and more! 

June 27-July 1: Taylor Summer Festival

  • Location: Heritage Park
  • Description: Live entertainment, carnival, Color Fest Run, food, fireworks (Saturday), and more!

June 28-30: Trenton Summer Festival

  • Location: Downtown Trenton on Jefferson between Maple and Harrison
  • Description: Live entertainment, crafters, food, kids activities, and more!


July 11-14: Wyandotte Street Fair

  • Location: 3200 Biddle St, Wyandotte, Michigan
  • Description: Live entertainment, fine artists, crafters, food, kids activities and more!

July 11-14: Uncle Sam Jam

  • Location: 23101 Hall Rd, Woodhaven, MI 48183
  • Description: Live entertainment (from some big names), carnival, petting zoo, monster truck rides, food, fireworks (Friday), and more!

July 27-28: Melvindale Street Fair

  • Location: Allen Road between Oakwood Blvd & Outer Dr
  • Description: Live entertainment, 5K, vendors, crafters, and more!

July 28-Aug. 3: Monroe County Fair

  • Location: Monroe County Fair, 3775 S. Custer Road, Monroe, MI 48161
  • Description: Live entertainment (free and paid), carnival, food, truck pull, monster truck show, demolition derby, rodeo, and more!

Aug. 16-18: Howell Melon Festival

  • Location: Youth Center Park, Lincoln Park, MI 48146
  • Description: Live entertainment, food, art and crafts, and more!


Sept. 6-8: Plymouth Fall Festival

  • Location: Kellogg Park 
  • Description: Live entertainment, carnival, car show, arts and crafts vendors, food, pancake breakfast, and more! 

Sept. 13-15: Flat Rock Riverfest

  • Location: Huroc Park, 28700 Arsenal Rd, Flat Rock
  • Description: Live entertainment, food, fun for kids, and more!

Sept. 20-21: Romulus Pumpkin Fest

  • Location: Romulus Historical Park, 11147 Hunt Street, Romulus, MI 48174
  • Description: Parade (Friday), live entertainment, games, food, car show, tractor show, and more! 

Sept. 28-30: Trenton Scarecrow Festival

  • Location: 2621 W. Jefferson, Trenton
