FREE Workout Videos for Home

The gyms and fitness centers are closed at this time due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Which means those of us who visited a gym are now looking for ways to exercise at home! I was about 8-9 weeks into weight training, and I was seeing so much progress! So, stopping suddenly is breaking my heart! For these reasons, I need to develop a routine from home. I’m going to be previewing and exercising to some FREE videos found online or through streaming services. As I do, I will list the ones I like and the benefits of them here. I hope you will find this resource beneficial.

Fat Burning Cardio Kickboxing on Amazon Prime combines martial art techniques with fast paced cardio. I’ve done this workout twice and it kicks my butt! Nicole has amazing energy and legs of steel (goal!!)

  • 30 mins full body workout
  • Challenges the beginner and the more advanced
  • Stretching at beginning and end
  • No equipment needed
  • Learn some basic defense moves 

Strength Training Weight Workout – Jenny Ford on Amazon Prime is a high energy full body workout. It involves a lot of squats, so if you have knee issues this workout may not be for you. 

  • 35+ mins full body workout
  • Warm up and stretching included 
  • Dumbbells 3-10 lb recommended 
  • Proper form encouraged repeatedly 
  • Step by step instructions 
  • Easy to adapt for beginner or more advanced 
Workouts from the Lemowell Series 

Beginner 30 Minute Total Body Workout to Lose Weight on Amazon Prime is part of a series by Lemowell. I enjoyed this video so I plan to preview some others in the Lemowell series. This video was computer generated but had voice instructions to go with it. It states it’s for beginners, but I’m not sure a true beginner could keep us with the fast pace.

  • 30 mins full body workout
  • Interval training approach with 30-60 second exercises
  • Low and high impact
  • Modifications for exercises
  • No equipment needed (although you can use weights for some exercises)
  • Very little floor space needed
  • Constant reminders for proper posture and ab contraction 
  • Stretching exercises at the end

How to Lose Arm Fat Fast on Amazon Prime is another from the Lemowell Series. It is a 10 minute dumbbell workout with exercises to tone your arms. Just like the other video the “instructor” is computer generated. Although this video is only 10 mins, it is intense because it focuses on just the arms – do what you can and lighten the weights (or complete exercises without weights). 

  • 10 minutes of intense arm work 
  • Dumbbells recommended
  • Modifications for exercises
  • Constant reminders for proper posture and ab contraction 
  • Little space needed for workout 
  • Stretching included 

Full Body Dumbbell Workout for Women on Amazon Prime is from the Lemowell Series which means it’s also computer generated. 

  • 20 minute full body workout

  • Little space needed 
  • Dumbbells recommended
