Southeast Michigan Halloween Happenings 2020

Although things may look different this year due to social distancing practices, there are still many Halloween activities happening across Southeast Michigan. DeBuck’s Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch (Belleville) 

Sept. 15 – Oct. 28 (Saturdays-Sundays)

  • Description: Corn maze admission includes: 13-acre corn maze, wagon ride to pumpkin patch, campfire, bounce pad, tire play area, swings, duck races, barrel rides, double trouble slide, pedal go carts, bouncy balls, super slide, bounce house, and pedal trikes.

Scarecrows in the Park (Plymouth)

  • Description: Main Street in downtown Plymouth will be invaded by visiting scarecrows who are sponsored by local companies, organizations, and families in the community.

Wilson Barn Pumpkin Fest (Livonia)  

October 3-25

  • Cost: Fees for some activities
  • Description: Daily activities include: pumpkin, gourd and cornstalk sales; pony and hayrides. Special activities on both weekdays and weekends.

Hallowe’en in Greenfield Village  (Dearborn) 

October 8-11, 15-18 , 22-25, 29-31

Maybury Farm Corn Maze (Northville)

  • Time: Friday from 5 pm-9 pm; Saturday from10 am – 9 pm. Sunday 10 am-7 pm
  • Cost: TICKETS BY RESEVATION ONLY – $10 per person, kids 2 and under free.
  • Description: 10-acre family friendly maze, 1-acre kids maze, tractor drawn wagon ride to and from maze.

Things That Go Bump In The Night (Plymouth) 

Friday, October 16

  • Address: Plymouth Historical Museum, 155 S. Main Street, Plymouth
  • Time: 6-8 pm
  • Cost: $5 per person, under 5 free
  • Description: A family event with COVID-19 family friendly activities!!!  Face Masks Required!
    • Take home Halloween Crafts & Candy
    • Surprise characters throughout
    • Halloween scavenger hunt
    • Halloween Costume is optional but encouraged

Haunted Hallow-Drive (Taylor) 

Friday, October 23 & 24

  • Address: Heritage Park, 12111 Pardee Road, Taylor 
  • Time: 6 – 10:30 pm 
  • Cost: $20 per car up to 5 people (Non-Taylor residents $25) 
  • Description: Take a drive on the haunted trail through Heritage Park complete with a Scooby Doo theme. Includes a digital family photo to remember the occasion and a bag full of Halloween candy for each child!

Shadows from the Past Halloween Drive-Thru (Livonia) 

Friday, October 23

  • Address: Greenmead Historical Park, 20501 Newburgh Road, Livonia, MI 48152
  • Time: 5 pm 
  • Cost: $5 per child
  • Description:  Greenmead’s historic buildings serve as the backdrop for this event! Participants will stay in their vehicles and drive thru the village, stopping at roadside stations to receive goodies and treats for the kids. Costumes are encouraged! Tickets are $5 per child and must be pre-purchased before the event. Sessions run every 15 minutes from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tickets will be available beginning Monday, Sept. 29 online through Parks & Recreation and at the Greenmead Office with cash, check, or money order.

Halloween on Macomb (Grosse Ile)

Saturday, October 24

  • Address: 7900 Macomb Rd, Grosse Ile, MI
  • Time: 10 am – 1 pm
  • Cost: FREE
  • Description: Join the Grosse Ile DDA and Recreation department us for their annual Halloween Parade and ghoulish fun in the Macomb business district. Parade starts at 10 and trick or treating at the businesses will be from 11-1. More details coming closer to event

Streets of Treats (Northville) 

Saturday, October 24

  • Address: Downtown Northville
  • Time: 10 am -11:30 am
  • Cost: FREE
  • Description: Special visit from the Tooth Fairy, Trick or treating, skeleton sculptures

Trunk or Treat (Westland) 

Saturday, October 24

  • Address: Westland Historic Village Park, 857 N. Wayne Rd, Westland, MI
  • Time: 12 pm – 2 pm
  • Cost: FREE
  • Description: Come to the village and explore our historic buildings while trick or treating.

Plymouth Ghosts Cemetery Walk (Plymouth) 

Saturday, October 24 

  • Address: Riverside Cemetery 1231 Goldsmith Plymouth, MI 48170
  • Time: 4-8 pm
  • Cost: $15 per person
  • Description:  Come meet some of the ghosts who have walked Plymouth’s streets in days gone by. This is an all-new walk–they do not repeat the characters. This event is designed to be educational, not scary, and the staff of the Museum takes every precaution to be respectful of the final resting places of Plymouth residents. The walk lasts approximately an hour and goes over rough ground in a cemetery. Please wear walking shoes and bring an umbrella if rain threatens. This event is rain or shine. 

Kids Halloween Stroll (Canton) 

October 30 & 31 

  • Address: Village Arts Factory, 50755 Cherry Hill Road, Canton 
  • Time: Oct. 30 (6-8 pm), Oct. 31 (2-4 pm) 
  • Cost: $5 per child 
  • Description: Costumes, Treats, Music, Games 

Trunk or Treat (Belleville) 

Saturday, October 31

  • Description: Join the T-Rex staff for fun safe evening of trick or treating.
