“No Pain, No Gaines” by Chip Gaines
I’ve always been a fan of HGTV and one of my favorite shows is Chip and Joanna Gaines’s The Fixer Upper. Even though The Fixer Upper has been discontinued, Chip and Joanna Gaines are still very active business owners in their hometown of Waco, Texas. And with the launch of his new book, No Pain, No Gaines, Chip is still influencing the lives of his fans!
About the Book
In No Pain, No Gaines, Chip Gaines shows us how to build relationships that encourage a life of meaning, joy, and connection. He states we need to be intentional about the company we keep and seek out people who live according to their purpose. People who will stand beside us through thick and thin and value relationships above all else. He says we must be true to ourselves as we discover our goals. And the best way to make this happen is by building relationships that lift us up!
No Pain, No Gaines will open our eyes to valuable lessons, including how to:
- be awake to life, not asleep at the wheel
- find the risks worth taking
- value what we bring to the table
- resist the status quo
- look outside ourselves and our circle and foster connections with others
- get comfortable with being uncomfortably kind
