Every four years, figure skating fans get to revel in the sport’s most celebrated platform – The Winter Olympics. Lucky for us, U.S. figure skating fans will have the opportunity to celebrate live figure skating in person with the stars from Beijing. The 2022 Stars on Ice tour will feature Olympic Gold Medalist NATHAN CHEN, Olympic Bronze Medalists MADISON HUBBELL & ZACHARY DONOHUE, and the U.S. figure skating team live. Straight from their medal-winning performances at the Winter Olympics in Beijing! One night only, the Tour will visit Detroit, MI on Saturday, May 7th for a 7:30 PM performance at Little Caesars Arena.

After missing two seasons due to the pandemic, the 2022 Stars on Ice tour will put fans front and center to experience the best of the U.S. Figure Skating team this spring. Joining Nathan Chen and Hubbell & Donohue will be Olympic Team Silver Medalists MADISON CHOCK & EVAN BATES, KAREN CHEN, ALEXA KNIERIM & BRANDON FRAZIER and VINCENT ZHOU, 2022 Olympic team members JASON BROWN, ALYSA LIU, and MARIAH BELL, and 2018 Olympic Bronze Medalist MIRAI NAGASU!     I did not watch any Olympic ice skating this year, but I have in past Olympic games.

    I was glued to the tv the whole 16 days!

    The figure skating is the top reason for me to watch the winter Olympics. I also love the snowboarding. This time around I only watched the “long” programs and skipped the shorts. I was really impressed by the Chinese skaters. Not so much by the ROC skaters. I do miss the artistic elements from years ago. Now it’s all about the jumps.
