Spray Parks, Splash Pads, & Water Parks 

Enjoy a hot summer day with the kids at one of the many water parks in our area! Most parks are open daily and free to the public, but be sure to visit the websites for more information!

Oakland County

This free splash pad opens Memorial Day through Labor Day from 2-6 p.m. daily.

Brandenburg Park Splash Pad (Chesterfield) 

The splash pad is available daily from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Clintonwood Park Spray Park (Clarkston)

Clintonwood Park is 120 acres of open space. The park is open every day with the exception of New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. The park features pickleball courts, basketball, 4 square and tennis courts, playground and spray park, baseball, softball and soccer fields, and volleyball.

Heritage Park Splash Pad (Farmington Hills)

This free park features a series of fountains and sprayers. There is also a snack shack for treats and refreshments located adjacent to the splash pad.

Red Oaks Water Park (Madison Heights)

This family-friendly waterpark offers multiple attractions: A wave-action pool; a Triple-flume water slide; a Children’s water playground with 68 features; a Water play area for toddlers; and a 990-foot-long moving river with a fitness walking program available. The wave pool, river ride, and children’s water playground are heated. Blue Water Grill provides concessions.

Kensington Metropark Splash ‘n’ Blast (Milford) 

Find the ultimate relief from the warm, summer sun and loads of fun for the entire family at Kensington Metropark’s Splash ’n’ Blast. Coast down two, 240-foot twisted water slides or romp through the spray ground with palm trees, serpents, and cannons that spray water. Waterslide riders must be 42” tall or higher.

Seymour Lake Township Park (Oxford)

This 132-acre park has four lighted tennis courts, four softball fields (two lighted), four baseball fields, eight premier soccer fields, playgrounds, picnic areas, Smith Silo, Prince Pavilion & Hanson Pavilion, fitness trail, the “Red Flyer Run” sledding hill, 18 hole Disc Golf course, two sand volleyball courts, basketball court, Gaga Ball pit, 14-acre multipurpose complex, our Community Build Playground “Kids Kingdom”, swing sets, restrooms, and the K.L.R. Splash Pad.

Emmons Plaza Splash Pad (Rochester Hills) 

Emmons Plaza is a beautiful space with lots of seating and beautiful landscaping. The splash pad features fountains, a rain garden, changing stations, and restrooms.

Normandy Oaks Splash Pad (Royal Oak) 

This free splash pad is part of a new 40-acre park in Royal Oak. The park also features a pavilion, restrooms, soccer fields, a sledding hill, walking trails, and a playground.

Southfield Sports Arena (Southfield)

Outdoor Olympic-sized pool, children’s spray pool, climbing wall, and a 120-foot waterslide.

Troy Family Aquatic Center (Troy)

This aquatic center features a main pool with a zero-depth edge, tube and body slides, a kiddie area with a waterfall, a kiddie slide and splash pad, sand volleyball, sand play area, and Harvey’s Hut Concession Stand.

Waterford Oaks Water Park (Waterford)

Waterford Oaks’ tropical wave pool features palm trees and bubbler fountains near the shore. A children’s water playground features more than 30 interactive activities. All pools are heated. Also available are picnic areas with grills, concessions, a bathhouse with showers and lockers, lounge chairs, and tubes.

Indian Springs Metropark (White Lake) 

Children of all ages will enjoy the spray pad located within Indian Springs Metropark’s Spray ‘n’ Play. Get soaked by ground sprays, water cannons, and a dumping bucket.  The spray park is located adjacent to other play features including a rock-climbing wall, cargo net, a fenced maze, a painted labyrinth, spinning buckets, and a hillside slide.

Fuller Park Outdoor Pool & Waterslide (Ann Arbor)

There is something for everyone to enjoy at Fuller Park Pool including a waterslide; seven-lane, 50-meter lap pool; a shallow area with ramp access; a 12-foot-deep diving well; and plenty of open space and lounge chairs to relax, grills for events, or just dinner and space that can accommodate almost any group.

Veterans Memorial Pool (Ann Arbor)

The Veterans Memorial Park Pool features a fan-shaped, zero-depth area with a “raindrop,” interactive water play apparatus, a wheelchair access ramp, and a 125-foot water slide. The minimum height requirement for use of the slide is 42 inches. We offer lounge chairs, a picnic area, tennis courts, and a shaded deck area.

Rolling Hills Water Park (Ypsilanti)

Rolling Hills Water Park is your ticket to wet and wild summer fun!  With so many attractions, they’ve got something for everyone to enjoy – Float down the lazy river, catch a wave in the wave pool, or take a trip down one of their awesome water slides! The Activity Pool is popular with younger children due to its zero-depth entry, gentle bubbler, geysers, a waterfall, and a kiddie slide for children under 45″ tall.  Relax in the chaise lounges and sand chairs on an extensive sun deck located throughout the water park and natural shade or shade umbrellas in several grassy areas surrounding the deck.

Quirk Park Splash Pad (Belleville) 

With a total layout of 6,359 square feet, it includes a splash pad, a dump bucket, and 19 different spray features. The wide variety of features makes this space appropriate for toddlers to teenagers. Included in the area are benches, shade sails, picnic seating, restrooms, and a bathhouse for changing clothes.

Turtle Cove Family Aquatic Center (Belleville)

Find the ultimate relief from the warm, summer sun while having buckets of fun at Lower Huron Metropark’s Turtle Cove Family Aquatic Center. Zip down two waterslides, drift along a lazy river, get soaked under the 300-gallon dumping bucket, and wade into the zero-depth entry pool with lap lanes. The Grille serves food and beverages (outside food/beverages and coolers are not permitted). Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Must be at least 48″ or taller to ride the large waterslides.

The Thorn Park Splash Pad is open Memorial Day through Labor Day! Admission is $2.

This free park features a splash playground, athletic field, baseball/softball diamond, pavilion, pedestrian path, picnic tables, playground, restrooms, and more.

Crowley Park (Dearborn)

Crowley Park features a splash pad, full-size dirt baseball diamond, a volleyball court, several play areas, and a picnic pavilion.

Hemlock Park (Dearborn)

Hemlock Park features a large picnic pavilion capable of seating 200 people, as well as several play areas, a public swimming pool, a splash pad, and a full-size baseball diamond.

Whitmore-Bolles Splash Pad (Dearborn) 

This splash pad features action-automated nozzles and water dispensers. Individuals and families may use all three Dearborn Splash pads for free.

Mt. Elliott Park (Detroit)

Mt. Elliott Park & Pavilion features a Great Lakes schooner-themed water feature with water cascades and “kid-activated” water cannons, wind chimes, and many other interactive features. The park is beautifully landscaped, complete with fishing piers, winding walkways, LED lighting, restrooms, and a café.

Palmer Park Splash Park (Detroit)

The Palmer Park Splash Park is motion-censored and will be programmed to turn on at 10:00 a.m. and automatically shut off at about 8:00 p.m. throughout the summer months.

Plymouth Sprayscape (Plymouth)

This sprayscape includes approximately 2600 square feet of space with 24 spray features including water cannons, horse charger, froggy-O, Daisy Mae, Water O’s, and 12 ground sprays. The Sprayscape is designed to accommodate all ages and is available at no cost!

Handy Park (Redford) 

The 18-acre site offers a children’s play area, picnic area and pavilion, concession building, public restrooms, tennis courts, softball field, soccer field, sand volleyball courts, skate park, summer splash pad, and walking/bike track.

Outdoor Splash Pool (Romulus)

Once the days get longer and the sun gets warmer, move the group outside for some fresh air, sunshine, and a splash pool.  Ground geysers, water cannons, foaming jets, and a 6 ft. 300-gallon tipping bucket in this interactive playscape with a kiddie slide, are sure to cool you off on the hottest summer day. The outdoor splash pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Veteran’s Memorial Park (St. Clair Shores) 

Park includes pavilions, a playground, volleyball net, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe courts, and a splash pad which is open 10 a.m to 8 p.m. daily.

Dodge Park Splash Pak (Sterling Heights)

Dodge Park is located along the Clinton River and includes a paved walking path, in-line skate park, playground, and sand volleyball court. The water playground is free to Sterling Heights Residents and $5 for visitors.

Lamarand Splash Pad (Taylor)

The Jeffrey Lamarand Splash Field is located inside Heritage Park, between the Sheridan Center Open Air Pavilion and the Activity Building. It is a unique baseball-themed splash park ideally suited for children 12 and under. It is open during the spring and summer. The fenced-in splash pad area also has a playscape for children to enjoy.

Kennedy Aquatic Center (Trenton) 

This 13,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility offers a 25-meter, 8-lane competitive pool, 2 diving boards, 15-meter lap pool, waterslide, splash area, 7,000 sq. ft. leisure pool with a depth ranging from zero to 3 1/2 feet with 9 water features, concession stand, locker rooms, lounge chairs, and large shade umbrellas.

H2O Spray Park (Westland)

An Outdoor Spray Park featuring an 18 Ft. Helicopter built 10 feet above the ground that sprays water from the rotors along with many other different Water Attractions, including a massive Dump Bucket, on over 20,000 Sq. Ft. of ground.
