Each symphony ensemble will be rotated throughout the evening to represent each section of the orchestra (brass, woodwinds, strings, etc.), rather than performing on a single grand stage. Take in the unique atmosphere of Greenfield Village in the summer with a series of historical decade vignettes, historical building experiences, and free carousel rides. Not Wayne County, but Clawson unfortunately canceled theirs for the 2nd year in a row … bummer. I’m visiting a friend next week and we were hoping to find some near her (South Lyon) but we haven’t found any yet which are that Saturday.

  • The Greenfield Village event sounds wonderful! I can’t remember the last time I got to see a whole fireworks display – one of my kids didn’t like the loud noises, so we always left early. It’s always fun to watch a few and say Oooohhh and Aaaahhh!! 😀 Thanks for sharing the list!
